Sequel to The Queen & the Homo Jock King
Together with their families and friends
request the honor of your company at the celebration of their marriage.
If there is one phrase that can be used to describe the wedding of Paul Auster and Vince Taylor (and the events leading up to that momentous occasion), it is hilariously awkward. Truly, this is comedy gold. If there is one thing I really need right now, here in these (not so) United States in 2017, it is some laughter from the soul. TJ's over the top humor style exactly fits the bill.
What I love about this series is...well, everything, really. Paul and Vince have a supremely awesome group of friends (and relatives) and all of them take part in making my stomach hurt from all the laughter. Daddy and Corey/Kori especially. And Helena in all her glory!
Until You documents the events leading up to the wedding of Paul and Vince in the most hilarious way possible, from the funniest blowjob scene I've ever read (seriously, I will never look at office supplies...or cheesecake...the same again), to a bachelor party that had me in tears (from laughter, of course) -- seriously, just wait until you read about Sexy Paul. O.M.G. And that doesn't even cover the wedding itself. Or the many broments in the company of Sandy and Corey.
Now was it all funny? No, it wasn't. There were serious moments, too, that had me tearing up for other reasons. Paul's one-on-one confabs with Darren and then his dad really cemented just how awesome these people are and how strong their bond is, even though they would never really admit it. Because what is family but those who will always have your back (and help you hide the bodies)?
All of this, and a couple surprises, made Until You one of my favorite reads so far this year, and I've read some pretty amazing stories so far. Fans of this series will not be disappointed, and I can guarantee you, you will end the book only wanting more.
Keep 'em coming, TJ! Can't wait to see what you have in store for Corey/Kori! They're not going to know what hit them. :)
