ARC Review: Shirt by Amy Lane

After a meet-cute in a bathroom and a whirlwind courtship, Ryan is ready to introduce Scotty to his parents. But a misunderstanding and some stubborn cuff buttons tangle Ryan up in an oxford shirt at a really inopportune time. Can Scotty take this opportunity to teach Ryan one or two more lessons about falling in love?

Dani's rating:

This is the first story in the Ryan & Scott series, originally published in Curious? A Woman's Introduction to Gay Romance , a cringeworthy title indeed, but I can see how this shortie would win anyone over to boy-on-boy lovin'.

Ryan and Scotty are beyond adorable together!

Shirt includes the meet-cute, as well as established couple moments four months after Ryan and Scott meet.

Ryan's never felt a real attraction toward women, but he has an a-ha! moment when he sees Scott at a party. It's pretty much a case of Insta Lust & Insta Love, but who cares?

This is a feel-good, opposites-attract kind of story, with plenty of steam (light bondage), sweetness, and humour.

Ryan and Scott's story continues in Phonebook and wraps up with a sparkly HEA in Puppy, Car, and Snow.

I read story 2 and story 3 before I read Shirt, but reading in order is obviously preferable.

All three stories are short, easy, and enjoyable, just good old-fashioned fluffy fun (with blow job and rimming).
