Blogtour: Bound by SJD Peterson

Please say hello to SJD Peterson and the latest installment of the

Guards Of Folsom series,

Tek Cain & Jamie Ryan work at the Guards of Folsom BDSM club. After two years on the run from their old motorcycle club and the Feds, Tek & Jamie are finally able to relax and enjoy their new life in New York City. But the past won’t stay buried, and when the MC resurfaces, it’s Jamie who pays the price. Tek and the rest of the members at the Guards of Folsom must work together to get back one of their own.

In this, the final installment in the Guards of Folsom series, everyone must come together, bound as one in their quest to find Jamie and bring him home once and for all.

From Jo:

Recently I attended an author workshop in Orlando for Dreamspinner Press. It was my second year attending and I can tell you, Elizabeth North, Lynn West and the rest of the Dreamspinner staff put on a great weekend. I learned a lot, spent time with my peers and had a wonderful time. This year was especially great, since my daughter, an aspiring author, attended with me. She’s a big reason why my dream came true. I hope to be the same inspiration for her.

While in Orlando I was able to fulfill one of her dreams. The first Harry Potter movie came out around my daughter's eighth birthday. It started a tradition, and each year in November when a new Harry Potter movie came out, we went. She grew up with these characters. Her play often mimicked the story, and left a huge impression on her. So much so, she even named her kitten The Golden Snitch.

For her ninth birthday, my daughter received a replica of Harry’s broom. She would run around the backyard with it, pretending to fly while in a heavy match of Quidditch with her friends. Therefore, attending Hogwarts while we were in Florida was a must. Walking into the park, she was transported back to her childhood and spent the entire day with a huge smile on her face. While on the Hogwarts ride, I confess, I got a little choked up. You see, the ride is in 3D and at one point, it feels like you are actually flying with Harry Potter. It was as if her childhood dream was coming true. She was flying with Harry Potter!
Some childhood dreams come true and some evolve and change. What about you? What was your child dream? Did it come true?

Leave a comment and I’ll pick one random winner to receive a $10 Dreamspinner Press Gift Card.

About the author:

SJD Peterson, better known as Jo, hails from Michigan. Not the best place to live for someone who hates the cold and snow. When not reading or writing, Jo can be found close to the heater checking out NHL stats and watching the Red Wings kick a little butt. Can't cook, misses the clothes hamper nine out of ten tries, but is handy with power tools.
