ARC Review: Places In Time by Cardeno C.

Places in Time Blurb:

A relationship-challenged actor unexpectedly finds love in the arms of his childhood best friend.

“Sexiest Man Alive” and Golden Globe winning actor Ethan Baker lights up the screen but fizzles in his personal life. When his latest girlfriend breaks up with him, Ethan turns to his one “forever” person—Jude Harrison. But as Ethan makes the familiar drive to his best friend’s house, an unexpected detour and a bewildering passenger take him through places in time he’d long forgotten. Suddenly Ethan sees Jude’s actions over the years from a different perspective, but it’s his own reaction that’s the biggest surprise.

Sandra's rating:

I quite liked this fluffalicious novella. I read the 2nd edition of this book.

Ethan is a successful movie star, but can't seem to keep a girlfriend. When his latest girl breaks up with him, his first call is to his best friend forever, Jude.

Only, on the drive to Jude's house, Ethan is joined by what could be termed the Ghost Of Christmas Past, who takes him to revisit key moments of his life, and makes him see them in a new light.

This is a well written friends to lovers story, in which one of the MCs finally sees what's been in front of him all this time.

The speed in which Ethan goes from "straight ladies' man" to "gay and hungry for Jude" was possibly a bit rapid, but then sometimes it happens that way, especially if you can't see the forest for all the trees.

The sexy times were smoking hot and tinged with a lot of pent-up emotions from both MCs, and this is what CC does best. Super cute, fluffy and sweet romance.

I really enjoyed it.
